Due to environmental reasons there is a constant pressure to reduce the use of PVC in products. That is why LoFric Plus is made of Polyether Block Amide (PEBA), a PVC-free plastic that makes LoFric Plus a better alternative for the environment.
The PEBA plastic is slightly softer than PVC which makes the catheter somewhat more pliable. LoFric Plus could therefore be an alternative for users with sensitive urethras. The outer layer of LoFric Plus consists of the same Urotonic™ Surface Technology as the classic LoFric catheter ensuring the same comfort and safety for the user.
